April 2 is celebrated as World Autism Awareness Day, also known as World Autism Day. In order to better call on the society to pay attention to caring for autistic people and help autistic children integrate into society, on March 31, the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation, the Municipal Youth League Committee, the Municipal Women's Federation, the Youth League Committee of Tiedong District, the Municipal Service Center for the Disabled, the Municipal Zhenfeng Public Welfare Disability Assistance Center, and Anshan Bile City jointly sponsored the launching ceremony of the "Illuminate the Starry Sky, Walk with Love" Care for Autistic Children Project and the DIY and free movie viewing activities for the disabled, and more than 400 autistic children, parents and young volunteers participated in the activities.
At 10:30 a.m. on the same day, the launching ceremony of the event was held in Bile City. Rehabilitation training experts for children with autism from Angel Wings Autism Training Center introduced the pathological characteristics of autism and early diagnosis and rehabilitation training methods. Zhang Tonglin, an autistic boy who was supported by the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation and Zhenfeng Public Welfare Team to start a business and open a clay sculpture museum, shared his learning experience and entrepreneurial experience with his clay sculpture works. The Zhenfeng public welfare team subscribed to 20 clay sculptures of Zhang Tonglin on the spot to encourage his creative enthusiasm. Zhang Tonglin's experience not only established confidence for many autistic families and autistic children, but also allowed everyone to see the sunny, upward, self-reliant and self-reliant spirit of autistic children. At the event, the organizer also prepared a set of stationery gift bags for each of the 10 autistic children to encourage their excellent performance in daily training. Subsequently, 100 children with autism and 100 young volunteers carried out a kite painting activity. Love is the best language, in the production process, autistic children also opened their hearts, and the little volunteers worked closely to negotiate the design, painted a beautiful kite pattern, the children had a good time, from all walks of life warmth and love surrounded these autistic children.
In the afternoon, the volunteers and the children with autism watched the movie "Kung Fu Panda" together. More than 400 people watched the movie together, which made the children experience unprecedented shock and happiness. Zhao Zhen, chairman of the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation, said that after the launch of the project of caring for autistic children, various activities suitable for autistic children will be held regularly to create opportunities for autistic children to integrate into society and contact with society, and create a good social atmosphere for the whole society to care for autistic children. In the future, the Municipal Disabled Persons' Federation will also care for people with autism from the aspects of life and employment, and strive to achieve the goal of "full-life service and all-round care" for autistic groups, reduce the burden on the families and society of people with autism, and promote the integration of people with autism into society and give full play to their own value.
