Zheng Chenggong relied on his actions this time, and suddenly became a hero in the eyes of the Taiwanese people, and the Taiwanese are happy to continue to beg for a life under Zheng Chenggong, but what many people don't know is that Zheng Chenggong recovered Taiwan, and there is another very important reason, that is, to oppose the Qing Dynasty and restore the Ming Dynasty.
He hoped to restore the rule of the Ming Dynasty, and had always been very dissatisfied with the rule of non-Han people in China by the Qing Dynasty, and he made a lot of preparations in Taiwan, to put it bluntly, he regarded this island as his base, but in the end, his idea did not succeed, and after his death, his descendant Zheng Jing became the main person in charge of Taiwan.
Zheng Jing is not a good person, in his life, for Taiwan to return to the embrace of the mainland of the motherland, but there are a lot of obstacles, on the issue of Taiwan's development, he has been continuing the previous Zheng Chenggong strategy, and did not make improvements, so the Taiwan region did not get any new development at that time.
And because of Zheng Jing's later private life problems, in the end Taiwan almost did not accept him, he had to return to Fujian, although he later wanted to return to Taiwan more than once, but failed, and finally passed the military action of the regime, only to reluctantly gain rights in Taiwan.
Rejection of the Qing Dynasty

In this way, both sides had their own ideas, until Zheng Jing died, did not reach cooperation with the Qing government, and after Zheng Jing died, the Qing Dynasty re-sent troops to Taiwan, which once again pulled Taiwan back into the embrace of the motherland, and in the next two hundred years, there was no more problem.
