In the northeast of the ancient city, there is a village called Borrowing Horse Village, where there is a "Black Dragon Pond", which is a pond of more than ten acres of land in a radius of more than 10 acres, which has accumulated water all year round and has never dried up. People say: It is the nest of the old turtle spirit, leading to the East China Sea.

Here, it is one of the famous "Pinggan Eight Scenes" in the history of Guangfu: "Longtan Wind and Rain".

The depression area of the ancient city of Guangfu is 46,000 acres, and the average elevation of the land surface is 41 meters.

The terrain here is low-lying, the south is high and the north is low, the river is vertical and horizontal, the water can flow artesianly, and the black dragon pond is at the most edge of the northeast of the depression.

The water of Black Dragon Pond is clear and sweet, and there are no impurities. However, the overall look is a bit surprising. Compared with the water in other places, the water is no different, but it is dark green or black over the years. Also, all year round, regardless of spring, autumn, winter and summer, drought, flood, rain and snow, the water surface of the pool does not rise or fall, and it is not turbid or frozen. How deep is the water here? The locals said that they don't know, they have never heard of anyone going down to test it, and it really looks like a "bottomless pool".

Black Dragon Pond carries a lot of mystery, I don't know how many years it has continued. But one thing is certain, that is, silently carrying the responsibility and dedicating selflessly and unsquiringly to a living being.

"There are dragons in the south in the mountains, and the ancient trees and branches are in each other's branches. "The surrounding trees of Black Dragon Pond are verdant, the rivers and canals are accessible, the lotus is planted, the fish and ducks are raised, there are good large swamp wetlands, simple and simple folk customs, and the scenery is charming and pleasant, it is really a good place for leisure and sightseeing.

There is a beautiful legend that shrouds the Black Dragon Pool. This also starts with the ancient city:

It is said that after the ancient city of Guangfu was built that year, there was a heavy flood in the summer, and the heavy rain did not stop. The people in the city were panicked, and there was a sea outside the city. Seeing that the rain was getting heavier and heavier, the sky was rippling, the water was rippling, and the water was rushing straight to the city. Through the thunder and lightning, I vaguely saw an old turtle the size of a dustpan in the flood, with blue light in his eyes, walking like lightning, driving the head of the water more than a foot high, leading the shrimp soldiers and crab generals, and roaring towards the north city gate. It was too late, but it was too fast, but I only heard the rattling of the bell and a loud shout: "Bah! A red-faced, long-haired man, riding a green horse and holding a green dragon glaive. Wow, Master Guan is here! The creatures in the city have been saved! I saw Master Guan pointing at the old turtle with a knife: "Okay, you evil beast! The Jade Emperor told you to flood Huguang and Sichuan, who asked you to flood the four passes of Guangfu! Don't retreat!" The old turtle didn't dare to slack off, "Zun God, where did you tell me to go?" Master Guan pointed with a knife: "Three miles away from the city." The honest old turtle did not dare to disobey the order, immediately turned the head of the water, led the shrimp soldiers and crab generals, all the way to the northeast direction of the whirlpool, to the southwest of the village of borrowing Mazhuang, twisted his body, spun a big pit, and with a bang, the flood shrunk back to the East China Sea. Since then, this big pit has been called "Black Dragon Pond".

The dragon king had nine sons, and the seventh son was called Gan Tuan, "The turtle has teeth, and he is very good at carrying heavy loads, and he often carries stone tablets in the palace." "It is the protector of longevity, auspiciousness, and good luck. The old turtle spirit in "Black Dragon Pond" is a black dragon with divine power, responsibility, and daring to take responsibility.

The poem "Longtan Moon Shadow" praises and says: "The birds are sparse in the sun and the shadow of the thousand forests, and the dragon is wide and close to the village ruins. This is the Ming Dynasty, the great poet Bai Nanjin of Yongnian Zhaozhou, after visiting the Black Dragon Pond, stayed overnight in the Nine Dragon Palace, poetic, leaving the black Dragon Pond and the surrounding beauty praise of the ink treasure.

The black dragon pond in the poet's pen is getting dusk, the birds return to the forest, the shadows of the trees are swaying, the village outline is picturesque, the canal network is intertwined, and it is a tranquil and solid paradise scene.

The surrounding people were indeed stained with the light of the Black Dragon Pond. Whether it is farming, farming, or sightseeing, it naturally increases income and benefits generations of villagers.

Black Dragon Pond is rich in turtle fish, all large and small are wild, and there is no need for manual management. Moreover, there are no other fish in the water. As the taste on the tip of people's tongues became more and more delicate, the turtle became a delicacy on the table, and its value soared. However, this is also the work of some poachers, and the villagers do not hunt the turtles in the pool.

I don't know why, but it feels like the temperature here is much cooler than in other places, maybe it's because of the dense trees, the vertical and horizontal relationship between the canals, maybe the pool is too deep, the cold air gathers, or maybe it's a psychological factor. Anyway, every summer season, outside Longtan, the sun is like fire, and the heat is pressing. On the edge of Longtan, thick shade is everywhere, and the cool breeze is blowing. On the islands and river embankments next to Longtan, sit on the ground, overlook the towering sluice towers, the ancient city walls, and the smoky lotus flowers, all of which are all integrated into the mirror-like pool water.

Black Dragon Pond is located in Borrowing Mazhuang Village, which is a treasure of feng shui. Looking through the history, 1400 years ago, Dou Jiande lent his mount to the villagers to cultivate in order to persuade him to teach agriculture; 2000 years ago, Liu Xiu ran for his life in defeat, and the villagers selflessly sacrificed their lives to help him escape. Across historical time and space, this treasure land has achieved two historical figures, Jin Ge Iron Horse, in the banner hunting, creating a meritorious career through the heavens and latitudes. Is it an honest and responsible black dragon who helps each other in the dark? Believe it or not? Once a historical figure is in harmony with myths and legends, isn't it very interesting!

Throughout the ages, the construction of water conservancy has always been a major event in the Guangfu area. During the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty, the prefect Li Jin excavated the moat and diverted water to irrigate the city river to plant lotus roots. In the 12th year of Jiajing (1533), the prefect Li Tengxiao created the West Embankment. It is about 20 miles long from southwest to northeast, and it happens to connect the natural embankment from the east to the south, and the group surrounds the city and becomes the outer wall of the ancient city. Since the Ming Dynasty has built the West Eight Gate, regulate the perennial irrigation of the Fu River water, the moat is both wide and deep, and it has become a surround water city surrounded by three ways. And the city river, the wetland is planted with calamus, fish and shrimp are raised, the aquatic products are abundant, and the scenery is beautiful.

Due to the abundance of water in the pond and the good natural ecology, not only the grain is harvested, but the production and sales of fruits and vegetables are also booming. So, the locals are relatively wealthy and grateful.

A few years ago, hydrogeology experts were organized to carry out detailed surveys and mapping around the ancient city. After measurement, it was found that the embankment with the ancient city as the theme, ranging from 800 meters to 2,300 meters away from the city wall, was about 3 meters lower than the ancient city wall. The terrain of Black Dragon Pond is as much as 2 meters lower than the river embankment.

Black Dragon Pond, the pond is 208 meters long, 160 meters wide, the average depth is 2 meters, covers an area of 0.33 square kilometers, belongs to fresh water, can raise fish. Immediately to the west is the north-south Zhizhang River floodway, which is the floodway of the Fuyang River. From the southwest of Shatun Village, the river section in the county is 14.7 kilometers long, the width of the riverbed is different, between 60-300 meters, the bottom of the river trough is 40 meters wide, the longitudinal slope is 1/4000, and the design flood flow standard: the river trough flood is 200 meters cubic / second, and the beach flood is 800 meters cubic meters / second. The water level that flows through the Black Dragon Pond section is 2 meters above the water surface of the Black Dragon Pond.

It is with such natural wetland conditions that Black Dragon Pond has a unique mysterious color. Perhaps it is this sense of mystery that protects the basic balance of the ecology, and people and nature respect each other and complement each other.

"Longtan Wind and Rain" is a praise of the black dragon Shenwei, but also a praise for the more pleasant and livable environment in the vicissitudes of life.

500-800 meters away from the moat in the west, the lakes and canals are staggered, the water surface is rippling, and the island in the middle of the lake between the lake and the outer embankment of the depression is full of flowers and plants, surrounded by clear water, covered by green trees, and frogs and drums and birds singing. Wetlands, lakes, forests, archipelagos, and roads are intertwined. Black Dragon Pond Scenic Area, covering an area of 500 acres. It has a lake area of 300 acres. On the island in the middle of the lake, the Nine Dragons Shrine of Our Lady, the Yixian Pavilion, the Nine Dragons Wall and other buildings are cleverly combined to become a well-known, million-square-meter vast water, cultural ancient city eco-tourism scenic spot.

The profound cultural heritage of vicissitudes, the beautiful scenery of the water town, the long-standing Taiji culture of the ancient city, and the water culture have framed a cultural resort with local characteristics, reflecting the unique charm in northern China.
