Although Turkmenistan is a neutral country, the United States and NATO will not let it go: Turkmenistan's oil and gas fields are China's core natural gas suppliers! At the end of 2009, China National Petroleum Corporation and Turkmenistan began to cooperate in natural gas business, and the natural gas imported by Turkmenistan has already accounted for one-third of the daily supply of China National Petroleum Corporation. As of 2017, Amu Darya Natural Gas Company is the largest overseas natural gas project company of PetroChina, and the Amu Darya Project is the largest overseas onshore natural gas exploration and development cooperation project of PetroChina.
PetroChina's Amu Darya project has discovered geological reserves of nearly 800 billion cubic meters of natural gas, which is a super-large gas field: the Amu Darya project has formed 6 100 billion cubic meters of atmospheric areas, with an annual gas production capacity of 17 billion cubic meters, and built the first overseas natural gas strategic livelihood guarantee project with 10 billion cubic meters and 500,000 tons of condensate production capacity. The natural gas production and reserves of the project have become the main source of natural gas supply in the Middle East, which is transported to 24 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in the mainland including the central and western regions, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta through the pipeline network built with Chinese funds, and as far as Hong Kong, China, benefiting more than 500 million people along the route, and almost one-third of the daily natural gas consumption of ordinary residents in these areas comes from Turkmenistan;

Unlike Pakistan, which is short of funds, Turkmenistan's army is small in number, but its military spending is sufficient: the Chinese-style homeland air defense automation system it has established has been used for many years, and the Turkish army is familiar with the tactics and maintenance of the Chinese-style long-range air defense missile system, so upgrading it to FD-2000BE is not complicated in technology and use;
For China, the protection of Turkmenistan's Amu Darya oil and gas fields is also the construction of China's economically developed economic regions, so if Turkmenistan proposes to upgrade the FS-2000AE system, China will accept and complete the project quickly.
