The new car will be equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and it is expected to continue to be powered by 2.0-liter gasoline and 2.0-liter diesel engines, and will be available in two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions. For reference, the Great Wall King Kong Cannon currently on sale is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission, with a price range of 97,800-113,800 yuan for the gasoline version and 104,800-120,800 yuan for the diesel version.
The design of the King Kong Cannon is derived from the Great Wall Cannon, but it adopts a simple design style, and the automatic transmission model is equipped with a thick trim strip inside the front and center grille, which is more refined than the manual transmission model. The new model to be launched is expected to continue to be available in two sizes: standard cargo box and long cargo box, of which the standard cargo box version is 5365/1880/1815 mm (flat box 1840) mm in length, width and height are 3140 mm, and the cargo box is 1550/1500/495 mm (flat box 470) mm in length, width and height respectively, and the long cargo box version is 5635/ 1880/1815 (flat box 1840) mm, wheelbase 3410 mm, cargo box length, width and height were 1820/1500/495 (flat box 470) mm.
The car is equipped with a multi-function steering wheel, while the instrument cluster and center console are floating. The in-vehicle system integrates third-party apps such as AutoNavi navigation/Douyin/voice control/remote start air conditioning and other functions, and supports FOTA remote upgrade. In addition, the car is equipped with ESP electronic body stability control, four-wheel disc brakes, automatic parking, front dual airbags, reversing radar and other equipment as standard.
In terms of power, the Great Wall King Kong automatic transmission model will be offered with 2.0T diesel and 2.0T gasoline engines, of which the 2.0T diesel engine has a maximum power of 120 kW and a peak torque of 400 Nm, and the 2.0T gasoline engine has a maximum power of 140 kW and a peak torque of 360 Nm. The new models will be fitted with a new 8-speed automatic transmission, while all models will be offered with two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive.
