She has successively won the titles of National 38 Red Flag Bearer, Tianjin Model Worker, etc., and enjoys the special allowance of the State Council.
White art is revitalized
In order to rescue the art of the Bai School of Pingju that was on the verge of being lost, the Tianjin Ping Opera Bai School Troupe headed by Wang Guanli was established in 2010. After the establishment of the troupe, it excavated, sorted, restored, and newly compiled 23 white operas, removing the rough and refined, removing the false and retaining the true, so that each play promoted the truth, goodness and beauty, and whipped the false, evil and ugly. These plays starring Wang Guanli are full of white charm and emotion, and they are almost full, and the audience is full of praise. Among them, 19 plays, such as "Qin Xianglian", "Du Shi Niang", "Begonia Red" and "Jinsha River", have been included in the national key cultural project - "Chinese Opera Audio-visual Collection".
The white school art innovated and developed
Since 2017, the Bai Pai Troupe has brought the art of Pingju into the field of film, further enhancing the dissemination of Pingju. Wang Guanli starred in the drama film "Han Yuniang", "Begonia Red" and "Bao Gong Sankan Butterfly Dream", which won many awards at home and abroad. In order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Baipai Theater Troupe created and rehearsed the revolutionary history modern drama "Jiaoyang". Wang Guanli profoundly interpreted the revolutionary martyr Yang Kaihui's profound feelings for his family and country and his fearless revolutionary spirit of treating death as home. In order to highlight the charm of Tianjin and promote the integration of culture and tourism, the Baipai Theater Troupe created a new drama "The Legend of Yang Liuqing". The play integrates the two intangible cultural heritage projects of Pingju and Yangliu Youth Painting, combining the excellent traditional Chinese virtues with historical legends, showing the urban cultural characteristics and spiritual temperament of Tianjin, so that the audience can enjoy the beautiful singing of Baipai art while gaining spiritual infiltration and ideological enlightenment, and become a model of Pingju works integrating culture and tourism.
There are successors to the art of the White School
Wang Guanli is well aware of the importance of the construction of artistic talent echelon, as early as 2012, Tianjin Pingju Baipai Troupe and Tianjin Vocational College of Art jointly founded the "Pingju Baipai Class". The Baipai Troupe adopts the teaching method of combining the opera school with the troupe, and linking the class with the stage, to cultivate outstanding young actors and performers of different genres and professions, and has been exceptionally recruited by the China Academy of Drama as a distance teaching pilot. At the beginning of this year, the students of the Bai Pai class have successfully graduated with university degrees and bachelor's degrees. The new seedlings of the Baipai Troupe have rehearsed 22 major plays and more than 10 excerpts, which have emerged on the stage of Pingju and have been recognized by the audience, laying a solid foundation for the follow-up construction of the troupe.
In March this year, she was hired as a member of the Municipal Women's Federation's "38" Red Flag Bearer Propaganda Group, she will continue to sow the artistic seeds of Baipai Pingju, tell the historical and cultural stories of Tianjin, and tell the stories of women's struggle.
