In exchange for his own status and safety, he betrayed his faith and responsibilities and became a puppet and accomplice of the Japanese invaders. During this time, he not only brutalized the communists and the revolutionary masses, but also indulged in pleasure and depravity, becoming an accomplice and lackey of the Japanese invaders.

With the victory of the Anti-Japanese War and the defeat and surrender of the Japanese invaders, Xie Wendong was listed as a traitor and was finally arrested and executed under the pursuit of the Northeast Democratic Alliance Army. His life also came to an end.
