The competitive pressure of provincial examinations and public institutions is not low

In the face of greater competitive pressure, the 21st Century Business Herald reporter interviewed a number of students who participated in the provincial examination, and many of them said that they were more prepared.

Wang Jia is like this, she began to prepare for the national and provincial examinations in September 2022, so she has a lot of experience in the exam: in the 2023 national examination, Wang Jia finally entered the interview with a difference of 2.8 points, and has successively participated in some public institution examinations, such as more than 400 people from Yunnan Provincial Department and public institutions participated in the examination, and she ranked 14th, in addition to the fourth place in the county and city business editors, one short of the interview. Wang Jia also participated in the provincial examination in other places, and more than 170 people applied for the exam, ranking second, but still gave up.

"I'm going to spend one and a half to two years to get in. Wang Jia said, "If you really can't pass the exam, you don't plan to continue to waste time, you will still look at other job opportunities." ”

Compared with Wang Jia, Xu Rui also thought that he was well prepared, but the final results of the national examination were not satisfactory and he failed to enter the interview process, so he chose a position that matched his professional background in the provincial examination, hoping to be successfully admitted.

Xu Rui also has plans to participate in the subsequent public institution examination. In his view, the biggest difference between staffed jobs and civil servants compared with other jobs is that they are stable and secure, and they also have stable promotion channels and career development space.

However, even the competition in the examination of public institutions is not low.

Liu Youzhen pointed out that according to their statistics, the joint examination of public institutions in the first half of 2024 will be officially held on March 30, and 18 provinces will participate in the joint examination, including: Heilongjiang, Yunnan, Shanghai, Hainan, Guizhou, Liaoning, Guangxi, Chongqing, Jiangxi, Tianjin, Shanxi, Hubei, Qinghai, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Shaanxi, Anhui, Hunan, In addition, two prefecture-level cities in Changchun, Jilin and Mianyang, Sichuan will also take the exam on the same day, and these provinces and cities will recruit a total of 110061 people. "From the perspective of the number of applicants, Shaanxi recruited a total of 9,983 people, but the number of applicants reached 295571, and the competition ratio was about 29:1. A person related to public education pointed out that similar to the provincial examination, the examination of public institutions may also be affected by the increase in the number of candidates and the little change in positions, resulting in intensified competition. The recruitment and competition pattern of the 2024 public institution examination may generally show a moderate increase in the scale of recruitment, the competition is still fierce, the preference for fresh graduates and grassroots positions, and the emphasis on professional skills.
