Fans who are familiar with Karen Mok know that she once adopted an Asian black bear "Baby" in 2005, during which she made many field visits, participated in interviews, filmed documentary promotional videos, etc., and also wrote a song "Baby" for it, and after the death of "Baby" in 2018, she made a large puppet costume and put it on the stage of the concert to commemorate the 13-year black bear love affair, which touched the audience. After 6 years, she adopted an Asiatic black bear again, and continued to use her own strength to call on more people to protect animals and cherish everything on earth.
In recent years, Karen Mok has established the "Morris Charity Initiative" with her husband and family to expand her philanthropic participation, not only to advocate for animal welfare, but also to continue to pay attention to environmental protection and children's education. She recently learned that the Hong Kong Society for the Conservation of Abandoned Animals (SAA) was facing huge financial difficulties in relocating to its location, and she and the Morris Charity Action Fund supported the relocation of more than 200 abandoned animals to their new homes by the end of 2024.
