Apple's Vision Pro is the first to be dismantled! A glimpse into the inner structure of Apple's sky-high headset

Today, the well-known repair website iFixit released a teardown video of the Vision Pro, so that you can get a glimpse of the inner structure of this Apple's sky-high headset.
The first is the front glass panel, which iFixit spent a lot of time to remove, but a layer of protective plastic film on the glass partially fell off, and the out-of-warranty repair cost of this glass cover is 799 US dollars (about 5750 yuan).
Under the glass panel, there are three layers of screens in front of you: a widened layer, a lens layer, and an OLED display, through which Apple can realize the EyeSight function.
Later, he showed pictures of the $3,500 X-ray of the Vision Pro, and said that when the Vision Pro was first used, the Interpupillary Distance adjustment would be performed, and the official retail store also had a machine that could determine the approximate power of the eye, but people with astigmatism may not be able to get the right lenses.
Further down the spectrum are the R1 and M2 chips, with the R1 chip being designed to handle inputs from 12 cameras, LiDAR sensors, and TrueDepth cameras.
The speakers are fixed to both sides of the body and can be removed by simply using a SIM pin, iFixit says that wearables are very susceptible to damage, so it makes sense to have speaker modules that are easy to replace.
However, when it tried to open the inside of the speaker, the cable inside was immediately broken, but the average person doesn't need to pry this thing open.
Underneath the gasket and magnetic seal is a permanent seal, a thin sheet of elastic plastic, which is supposed to prevent the ingress of foreign objects.
The battery pack consists of three iPhone-sized batteries with a capacity of 35.9Wh, each cell is 3166 mAh, providing a total of 11.34 volts and a total weight of 353 grams.
Adding the battery and headset together, the total weight is more than a kilogram, compared to the 722 grams of the Quest Pro and 515 grams of the Quest 3, I have to say that the Vision Pro is really heavy.
iFixit also said that this is only a preliminary teardown, and more content will be released in the future.
