In order to create a happy and peaceful festival atmosphere, on the morning of February 1, Ducheng Yonghe Community, Ducheng Economic Cooperation Society and Hangzhou Zhongce Vocational School of Kangqiao Street held a series of activities to welcome the New Year with the elderly in the transition room for the elderly.
The lantern hangs high, and good luck is coming
There is a New Year's flavor called the red lantern hanging high. Under the warm winter sun, the community staff carried the hand-assembled red lanterns into the transitional house, and hung them under the porch of the old people's doors. After installing the lanterns, the staff put up blessing characters, couplets, and window grilles for some elderly people with limited mobility, so that the elderly's home became warm and joyful.
Singing performances, "art" starts to welcome the new
The aftertaste is lingering, tactful and melodious. The event kicked off with a classic song, and the students of the Music Club of Zhongce Vocational School narrowed the distance between them and the elderly with their melodious singing voices and real and moving performances. Looking at their happy smiles, the students felt extremely relieved.
Red envelope rubbing, blessing to welcome the new year
Love is a piece of sunshine in winter, and smile is the green branch swaying in the wind and the most beautiful language in spring. After the performance, the students and the elderly experienced the making and rubbing of creative red envelopes for the New Year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
Before making the red envelope, the volunteers let everyone understand the origin and meaning of the red envelope through interactive questions and answers, and introduced in detail the ancient printing technology of the mainland - rubbing. Subsequently, the method of making red envelopes and rubbing red envelopes was demonstrated on the spot. The elderly and children are immersed in the creation, and the blessing characters in different fonts and the red envelopes with auspicious meanings are eye-catching. The small red envelope was held in the old man's hand, and the great warmth was sent to the old man's heart.
A series of activities to welcome the New Year, such as hanging lanterns, singing in the New Year, and rubbing red envelopes, have created a strong atmosphere for the upcoming Spring Festival and met the spiritual and cultural needs of the elderly in the transitional housing. In the laughter, the old people appreciated the charm of traditional culture and also enhanced the friendship between neighbors and felt the warmth and happiness of home.
