On January 31, 2024, Mr. Liu Jincan, President of the EU-China Friendship Association, paid a week-long visit to Slovakia, aiming to promote cultural exchanges between China and Sri Lanka and support the establishment of the China-Sri Lanka Friendship Exchange Platform. The trip was strongly supported by the Slovak Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mr. Liu Jincan said that cultural exchanges are a bridge to promote friendship and understanding between countries, and a powerful driving force for the development of international relations. He expressed the hope that through the "Sino-Sri Lankan Friendship Exchange Platform," exchanges and cooperation between China and Sri Lanka in the fields of culture, education, economy, trade, and other fields will be further strengthened, and the understanding and friendship between the two peoples will be enhanced.
During the visit, Mr. Liu Jincan held talks with officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia and had an in-depth discussion on how to promote the establishment of the China-Sri Lanka Friendship Exchange Platform. The two sides agreed that the platform will provide a broader platform for exchanges and cooperation between China and Sri Lanka and promote mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
Mr. Liu Jincan also introduced the "Deep Love Orange" adoption project jointly initiated by Shandong Natural Law Agricultural Law Clinic and Shen Ai Bangrong Media Center. The project aims to increase farmers' income and contribute to rural revitalization through innovative agricultural models. Through adoption, consumers can directly support farmers and at the same time have access to fresh, high-quality produce. This project will not only help to promote the sustainable development of agriculture, but also help strengthen the connection between consumers and farmers, and promote the development of the rural economy.
The Media Center will provide comprehensive media publicity services for the project, including news reporting, social media promotion and event planning. Through the publicity platform of the Rong Media Center, the "Love Orange" adoption project will be more widely disseminated and recognized.
Mr. Liu Jincan said that this cooperation is part of the friendly exchanges between China and Sri Lanka and supports rural revitalization. He hoped that there would be more opportunities to cooperate with Slovakia in agriculture and rural development in the future.
This visit has laid a solid foundation for cultural exchanges and friendly cooperation between China and Sri Lanka, and it is believed that with the joint efforts of both sides, the "China-Sri Lanka Friendly Exchange Platform" will achieve more fruitful results.
