In the early stage of filming "Red Son: Going to the Meeting with a Single Knife", the crew first made a lot of efforts to authenticity, Wang Lusha and the team did a lot of preparations, read historical materials, visited the places where Ulanfu and Kuibi lived, found the memoirs of many people, and collected thousands of historical pictures, which provided a solid foundation for the maximum reproduction of the environment, characters, costumes, props, customs, and modeling of the Inner Mongolia grassland in the forties of the last century, and the images truly brought the audience into the thrilling story of that era.
In October last year, as the chief director and screenwriter of the film "Shanghai Guli", Wang Lusha and his creative team finally finalized the final shooting direction after several months of brainstorming and overnight work. "I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and bursts of inspiration came to my heart, as if I saw a storyline flashing in front of my eyes," after visiting the Kashgar region of Xinjiang and feeling the local folk customs and natural scenery, he locked himself in the hotel room and carried out seven sleepless revisions.
