Mazda is actually a very alternative car company, in the stage of high-end cars generally accelerating the transformation of drive technology, few car companies will also launch products equipped with large-displacement six-cylinder engines, and Mazda is also launching in-line six-cylinder 3.3T fuel vehicles, whether it can be recognized is indeed difficult to predict.
Price is the key to determining the market performance of the Mazda CX-70, and the car is expected to be introduced in China, so it will naturally be handed over to Changan Mazda for production.
What is the right price?
Objective evaluation of this car should not set a low price, because the engine displacement is too large, even if its price into the mid-range car price band, mid-range car users are difficult to accept large displacement and high fuel consumption models, so this car still has to move closer to the high-end car camp, referring to the Mazda CX-8 guide price, the car is equipped with a four-cylinder 2.5L&6AT under the premise, the guide price is 258,800-330,800 yuan. At present, the CX-8 has been discontinued, and it is expected that the CX-70 will be filled by users, and its starting price may be around 300,000 yuan, and the high-end version will look at the 400,000 level.
The CX-70 will also have a plug-in hybrid version, equipped with a 2.5-liter engine and multiple motors, with a maximum torque of 500Nm and a maximum power of 237kW.
However, Mazda has said that it will not introduce a plug-in hybrid model until 2025, so in 2024 it only needs to focus on the gasoline version of the CX-70.
