Abstract:With the acceleration of urbanization, the demand for long-term rental housing among young people is gradually increasing. According to the report, long-term rental apartments have become one of the options for young people to put down roots in the city.

According to the report, nearly a quarter of the surveyed young long-term renters have lived in the current city for more than 8 years, and the total proportion of 1 to 5 years has reached about 43.09%. Long-term rental youth have gradually accepted renting as a way to take root in the city, and no longer think that "there are thousands of lights, there is one of them" must be achieved through buying a house.

In the process of renting a house, the Internet has become the most commonly used rental tool for long-term rental youth, and 49.04% of them rely on various rental platforms. In terms of rental expenses, there is a large difference in the monthly rent of long-term rental youths in different cities, with young people in Beijing spending 3,001 to 4,000 yuan per month on rent, while young people in Fuzhou only spend 2,000 yuan or less on rent. The report also shows the gap between the expectations of long-term rental youth and the actual situation, as well as their use of rental subsidies and housing provident funds provided by enterprises.

Commuting is another key factor influencing the rental experience of long-term young people. According to the report, 14.04% of young people who rent long-term rentals can reach the company on foot, and the remaining eighty percent use means of transportation, among which taking the subway has become the main way of commuting. In terms of rental options, long-term rental youths pay more attention to commuting time and price, and choose professionally operated brand long-term rental apartments and large rental communities.

In addition to commuting, the degree of perfection of supporting facilities also directly affects the convenience of living. According to the report, supermarkets are the most important supporting facilities for long-term rental youth, followed by shopping malls, parks, hospitals and restaurants. The report also analyzes in detail the requirements and renovation tendencies of long-term rental youth for house decoration quality, furniture and household appliances and living experience.
