In August 2023, the Economic Investigation Detachment of the Wanzhou District Public Security Bureau of Chongqing Municipality received clues from superiors: Zhang, a resident of the district, had repeatedly purchased special anti-counterfeiting paper, special printing oil and other tools online, suspecting that he was suspected of making counterfeit money.
After receiving the clue, the detachment quickly thought of a related information, in the past two years in Wanzhou and its surrounding districts and counties from time to time found counterfeit money, the police have always suspected that Wanzhou has a counterfeiting den, but used a lot of investigative measures to find the source of counterfeit money. In view of the seriousness of the case, the leaders of the detachment quickly assigned experienced police officers to investigate the case under the guidance of the Economic Investigation Corps of the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau.
