It is understood that the Beijing Municipal Children's Welfare Institute was founded in 1984 and mainly adopts abandoned babies who have been disposed of by the Beijing Municipal Airport Public Security Bureau and other public security bureaus and sent to the hospital for treatment. The main scope of business is the adoption of orphaned and disabled children and medical treatment, education and rehabilitation, and the adoption of disabled children whose families are unable to take care of them. At present, the total construction area of the children's welfare home is about 24,000 square meters, with 500 designed beds, and 99% of the children under the age of 14 are suffering from different types and degrees of disabilities, including intellectual and physical disabilities.
