May 12 this year is the 16th National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day in mainland China. The reporter learned today that the State Administration for Market Regulation (National Standards Committee) recently approved the issuance of three national standards: "Terminology of Emergency Shelters", "Classification and Classification of Emergency Shelters" and "Signs of Emergency Shelters". It mainly regulates the following aspects:
1. Classification and classification of emergency shelters
2. Site selection
3. Design and construction
4. Functional partitioning
5. Facility and equipment configuration
6. Signs, identification, management and use, etc
The "Terminology of Emergency Shelters" stipulates the relevant terms of emergency shelter classification and classification, planning and construction, management and use, etc., and mainly solves the problems of inconsistent connotations and names of emergency shelters in various current standards, and large differences in implementation in different regions.
At the same time, in order to meet the needs of classified management, it further divides indoor and outdoor, comprehensive, single (including specific) and emergency, short-term and long-term refuge places, mainly to solve the problems of single type of emergency refuge to deal with disasters, inconsistent functional and technical indicators, and lack of hierarchical and classified guidance in planning and layout.
The "Emergency Refuge Place Signs" stipulates the requirements for the graphic symbols, sign types, sign sizes, and sign production and setting of emergency refuge place signs, mainly to solve the problems of inconsistent sign systems, incomplete sign content, and non-standard sign production and setting.
