A few days ago, Zhidian Mobility obtained the official teaser images of BMW's new i5 Touring M60 xDrive model, and the new car is scheduled to make its world premiere next month, and it is expected to go on sale in the first half of the same year at the earliest. The Bavarian automaker has confirmed that the new car will be launched in 27 EU countries, as well as the United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, Japan and Taiwan, with major competitors such as the Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan and the upcoming Audi A6 Avant e-tron.
As can be seen from the teaser images of the new car released and the previously exposed road test spy photos, the new BMW i5 Touring M60 xDrive model is equipped with a blackened closed kidney grille on the head, and the production version will also add the M-series exclusive badge on the top. The rear section is expected to feature the same design elements as the base model of the i5, with a small spoiler above the tailgate. According to overseas media, the size of the new car will be slightly higher than that of the basic sedan, and its loading capacity will also be more advantageous.
In terms of power, BMW's all-new i5 Touring M60 xDrive model will be driven by dual front and rear electric motors, with a maximum output of 442kW and a maximum torque of 820Nm, and a capacity of 81.2kWh.
