As a result, in the 3DMark test, the Orion 2400 processor was crushed by the Snapdragon 8 Gen3.
According to the latest scores at the scene, the S24+ phone equipped with the Orion 2400 processor scored 4042 points on the 3DMark Wild Life Extreme, with an average frame rate of 24.2 frames, which is twice the performance of the Orion 2200 processor, even the A17 Pro carried by the iPhone 15 Pro is not afraid at all. But the Orion 2400 processor is to be compared with the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor after all, and compared with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the Orion 2400 processor has no advantages at all. Foreign media said that the Meizu 21 processor based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor can reach 5010 points, which is 20% higher than Orion, and it is basically in a completely crushing situation, which is obviously not a grade.
It's unclear whether the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 version of the S24 is almost identical to the Orion 2400 processor in terms of performance, and if Samsung compromises, then the Samsung S24 series phones will have a certain gap in performance compared to other phones. However, for domestic consumers, except for Samsung's use of Orion 7420 processors due to the rollover of Snapdragon 810, all other Chinese versions are Snapdragon processors, and Chinese users do not have to worry about whether they will use Orion processors. Even European users may want to protest, after all, it seems that only they have the Orion version available now. This time, Samsung's S24 mobile phone focuses on AI, hoping to deeply integrate AI into consumers' usage habits.
