AlloyB-3 ushers in a new era of high-performance materials
Alloy B-3 superalloy is a nickel-based alloy whose main components include Ni, Cr, Fe, Al and other elements, alloyed by adding chromium, tungsten, aluminum and other elements. The alloy has excellent high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance, and is widely used in aerospace, energy, chemical and other fields. Its mechanical properties are excellent, with tensile strength not less than 735MPa, yield strength not less than 324MPa, and elongation not less than 35%. Welding this alloy requires a suitable welding process to ensure the quality of the weld.
