On January 9, Tencent Games released the "2024 Winter Vacation and Spring Festival Holiday Game Restriction Calendar for Minors".
According to this "limited play calendar", underage players can log in to experience Tencent Games every Friday, Saturday, Sunday from January 22 to February 24, and between 20 pm and 21 pm on the Spring Festival statutory holiday.
Tencent Games said: I hope that all adults and children can self-discipline the game and spend a fulfilling winter vacation, and remind the majority of underage players to arrange their time reasonably and play moderately.
Tencent Games said that during the winter vacation, minors played for a total of 16 hours, in addition to real-name authentication, time-limited charging, face recognition and other anti-addiction measures, but also a comprehensive upgrade of "parent services". Among them, the parent service assistant launched is the industry's first "AI self-service + artificial video" one-stop service model, which can recommend control solutions according to parents' personalized demands.
