During the New Year's Day, Wuhua District received a total of 570,500 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 436.17%, and achieved a total tourism income of 295 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 341.12%.
During the New Year's Day, the traditional scenic spots and scenic spots in Wuhua District continued to be hot, and the 4A-level scenic spot Cuihu Jiangwutang Scenic Area received a total of 74,268 tourists during the three-day New Year's Day holiday, an increase of 50.55% year-on-year, and the reception volume of urban parks such as Lotus Pond Park and Kunming Zoo increased significantly year-on-year, receiving 4,200 and 38,083 tourists respectively, a year-on-year increase of 1,545.00% and 892.52%. The New Year's Eve atmosphere in iconic comprehensive business districts such as Nanping Pedestrian Street is also very strong, especially in Shuncheng Shopping Center and Kunming Old Street, which received 328561 and 66,300 tourists respectively, a year-on-year increase of 22.31% and 322.20%.
In recent years, rural tourism in Wuhua District has also been heating up, and the characteristic "agricultural and cultural tourism" experience is also an important choice for many tourists to spend the festival. According to the data of monitoring points, nearly 30 accommodation monitoring points in Wuhua District received a total of 9,289 people, with an average bed occupancy rate of 57.71% and an operating income of 2.781 million yuan. Among them, the number of receptions and operating income of 10 star-rated hotels showed an increasing trend, especially the reception of 3 four-star hotels such as Kunming Grand Hotel, Kunming Green Lake Hotel, and Kunming New Era Hotel increased by more than 300%.
