The charging head network found a 600W switching power supply module launched by Huawei, the model is PAC600S56-CB, the output voltage of this module is 56V, and the output current is 10.72A. The module is designed for redundant power supply in a metal case and has a handle for easy lifting. The power supply is connected to the power cord input by the pinzi socket.
The output terminal adopts a gold-plated connection socket, and a cooling fan is provided at the input end of the switching power supply module, which draws air from the output end and blows air from the input end to dissipate heat from the power supply. There is an indicator light at the input end of the power module to indicate the working status and fault. The following brings a disassembly of this 600W DC power module, showing the internal design and materials.
Appearance of Huawei's 600W DC power module
Huawei's 600W server power supply is a classic "brick" shape, with a metal shell that is encapsulated and fixed by multiple screws.
Since this is a second-hand power supply purchased by the charging head network, a part of the left end of the fuselage label is missing.
However, it can be seen from the remaining part of the nameplate that Huawei's power supply model is PAC600S56-CB, with a total output power of 600W, and has passed EAC, CE, CCC, TUV certification.
The side is provided with housing encapsulation fixing screws.
There are raised shrapnel on the top surface of the fuselage, as well as on both sides.
The bottom is provided with the fixing screws of the shell and the internal PCBA module.
At one end, there is a power cord slot, a fan, a carrying handle, and a quick-release handle.
The power slot is a common type.
The fan is fixed with the shell by screws, and the handle is made of metal, which emphasizes higher and makes it more secure to unplug the power supply.

In the actual scenario, press the quick-release handle in the direction of the handle to realize the tripping and take out the power supply.
The output housing grille design helps dissipate heat.
And the center of the edge above the end shell is also provided with a positioning groove.
The output terminal of the motherboard inside the power supply is designed with a socket design and gold plated pins.

Dismantling of Huawei's 600W DC power module
After reading the appearance display of Huawei's DC power module, let's disassemble it and take a look at the internal structure.
First, unscrew the fixing screws on the side of the fuselage and remove the power supply cover.
There is also a layer inside the housing that expands the size of the power module and directs the fan airflow to the PCBA module.
The PCBA module is fixed with screws.
The connector is used to connect the cooling fan.
Take out the internal PCBA module, and there is also a thermal pad inside to dissipate heat from the device.
The cooling fan is from Nidec, model W40S12BUB5-07, specification 12V0.53A, made in China, and equipped with static blades.
The front of the PCBA module is at a glance, the lower left corner is the power input socket, the right side is soldered fuse, safety X2 capacitor, and common mode inductance. Welded rectifier bridge, NTC thermistor and surge protector above. The upper left corner is welded with a rectifier bridge, and the right is an NTC thermistor. The white below is the relay. In the upper middle is a PFC step-up inductor and LLC transformer, and a high-voltage electrolytic capacitor is welded below. Among them, the PFC step-up inductor and the LLC transformer are planar transformers with an integrated structure.
The back of the PCBA module is equipped with a power main control chip, an isolated optocoupler and an isolated communication chip, and the boundary between the primary stage is obvious.
The power socket is secured by a soldered connection.

The PFC rectifier is from Ruine, the model is NXPSC06650D, it is a silicon carbide diode, the specification is 650V 6A, and it is in a TO252 package.
The high-voltage filter capacitor is from EPCOS and is specified at 470μF 450V.

The planar transformer structure is adopted inside, and the PFC boost inductor, resonant inductor, auxiliary power transformer and LLC transformer are all set on a PCB, and the heat dissipation is in contact with the shell through the thermal pad.
