In the second year of Jianyan (1128), the Jin army entered Shaanxi, and Wu Jue, under the command of Qu Duan, the commander of Jingyuan, defeated the Jin army at Qingxiling, which greatly boosted the morale of the Song army. Later, he was appreciated by Zhang Jun, the envoy of Xuanfu, and was promoted to the commander.

In the fourth year of Jianyan (1130), Wu Jue marched into the army to recover the Yongxing army and was appointed as the envoy of the Yongxing army. In the same year, under the command of Zhang Jun, he participated in the Battle of Fuping. After the war, he and his younger brother Wu Lan gathered stragglers and held the monk plain. In the battle of Monk Yuan in the following year, he first defeated Jin General Wuli, Ulu, Zhehe and others, and then broke the heavy troops of Jin Shuai Wanyan Zongbi's department and won an unprecedented victory. Because of the meritorious construction festival, he was named the envoy of the Zhenxi Military Festival.

Han Shizhong is burly and brave. He was born in a poor family, practiced martial arts since he was a child, was addicted to alcohol, and advocated moderation and righteousness. At the age of 18, he enlisted in the army and began his military career. In the army, he was brave and strategic, and made great contributions to the Song Dynasty in the wars against the Western Xia and Jin, and also made significant contributions to quelling rebellions in various places.

Battle of Huangtiandang: In March 1130 (the fourth year of Jianyan), the Jin army, led by Wanyan Zongbi, invaded Jiankang (now Nanjing, Jiangsu) in the Southern Song Dynasty. By this time, the Southern Song Dynasty had fled south to Mingzhou (present-day Ningbo). At the same time as the Jin army attacked Jiankang, Han Shizhong led the army from Zhenjiang to lead the boat division up the river, wanting to cut off the return route of the Jin army. When the Jin army saw that the Song army was coming to intercept it, they preemptively occupied the favorable terrain with the intention of blocking the Song army.

Seeing this, Han Shizhong ordered the navy to attack in two directions, personally leading one team to attack from the front, and the other team to attack from the side. After a fierce battle, the Song army successfully forced the Jin army into a treacherous water area - Huang Tiandang. Huang Tiandang was a narrow river, and the ships of the Jin army could not pass smoothly.

In the ensuing battle, the Song army used the old channel of the Lao Stork River to create a large canal connecting the mouth of the river, so that the Jin army could not escape. The Jin army was trapped in Huang Tiandang for 48 days, during which time several unsuccessful attempts to break out.

The Battle of Huang Tiandang was an important battle between the Southern Song Dynasty and the Jin Dynasty. In this battle, the Song army led by Han Shizhong succeeded in forcing the Jin army into treacherous waters and finally defeated it. This battle was of great significance to the Southern Song court, as it demonstrated the strength and courage of the Southern Song army, and at the same time inspired the confidence of the Southern Song people to resist the Jin.

Battle of Dayi: It was an ambush battle in the tenth lunar month of the fourth year of Shaoxing in the Southern Song Dynasty (1134), in the Song-Jin War, the Song army defeated the Jin and Puppet Qi allied forces in the area of Dayi Town (now northwest of Yangzhou, Jiangsu). This battle is also considered to be one of the thirteen military exploits of the Southern Song Dynasty.

In this battle, the Jin army commander Wushu and the Jin general Nie Erxiao Jin led the Jin army, united with the army of Liu Yu of the puppet Qi, known as the army of 500,000, and attacked the Song Dynasty in the south and attacked Huainan. Han Shizhong personally led the cavalry to garrison Tun Dayi Town to meet the Jin cavalry. After a fierce battle, the Song army successfully defeated the combined forces of Jin and Puppet Qi.
