Academician Chen Xiaoping of the Chinese Academy of Sciences conducted teaching rounds and MDT discussions on difficult cases of hepatobiliary and pancreatic in our department. After the rounds, Academician Chen Xiaoping gave a live broadcast of the surgical demonstration to patients with stage IIIb of hilar bile duct carcinoma at the academician workstation of the Second Academy of Guangzhou Medical College. During the operation, bile duct carcinoma invaded the right hepatic artery and portal vein, and after exploration, radical resection of the skeletal cholangiocarcinoma of the hepatic portal combined with left hemihepatic resection, right hepatic artery + portal vein resection reconstruction, and right hepatic duct jejunum Roux-en-Y anastomosis were performed. Intraoperative frozen sections show bile duct resection of proximal and distal cancer-free cells, and the operation reaches R0 radical resection.

Conducted a special session on the focus of ERCP and accelerated rehabilitation surgery and the basic training of the School of Ultrasound in Hepatobiliary Surgery and China (Guangzhou Station). The discussions on both sides were lively, and the colleagues attending the meeting put forward different problems and cases in their own fields, discussed together, made common progress, and competed with each other.
