Do not buy the eyes that are collapsed and cloudy
Fresh hairtail has bright eyes, while those that have been stored for a long time will look cloudy. When touched by hand, the surface of high-quality hairtail is more elastic and firm, but if it is soft and inelastic to the touch, it is usually of poor quality and the taste of the mouth will be greatly reduced.
Most of the hairtail fish with thick ice layer are frozen for a long time, and the freshness is relatively poor compared to the thin ice layer, and the hairtail fish with thick ice layer accounts for more weight, and it is not easy to distinguish the size of the hairtail fish, and it is generally very narrow after thawing.
If the ice is thin, you should also observe the color of your eyes, if the eyes are dirty, it may be thawed and frozen repeatedly, but it is not fresh.
