In 1941, our party comrade Liu Huixin was arrested by spies, and even though she was tortured, Liu Huixin was still tight-lipped and resolutely would not betray the party organization.
When the spies ordered the execution of Liu Huixin, she calmly walked to the execution ground with her infant daughter in her arms, 22 years after Liu Huixin's death, did her daughter survive and how is she doing now?
Possess the same beliefs
Liu Huixin, formerly known as Liu Yiqing, was born in Huai'an, Jiangsu Province on March 17, 1915.
Born in a poor family, she has been Xi to a simple life since she was a child. In middle school and college, Liu Huixin always wore a blue cheongsam.
Sometimes after washing the night before and drying the next day, Liu Huixin can only wear it wet on her body, because she only has this decent dress.
Liu Huixin, who was born in a poor family, cherishes the hard-won opportunity to study Xi, almost every semester Liu Huixin can get a scholarship, after graduating from middle school, she was successfully admitted to Nanjing University with excellent grades and chose to study in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
In 1936, at the age of 21, Ma Shitu entered the Xi of the Department of Chemistry of Nanjing University and became Liu Huixin's younger brother, and the two joined the revolutionary organization of the Nanjing Student Federation.
After the July 7 Incident, the two participated in the anti-Japanese rescue activities organized by the Federation of Students, and actively publicized anti-Japanese knowledge to the public, and achieved great results.
The party organization saw the efforts made by the two to resist Japan, and after inspection, approved the two to join the Communist Party of China.
Before the fall of Nanjing, they retreated together to Wuhan, and under Dong Biwu's arrangement, they actively participated in our party's training classes and learned Xi knowledge of guerrilla warfare.
After the training, Ma Zhitu stayed in Wuhan to work, and Liu Huixin went to work in Yidu, Yichang and other places, and the two ushered in a short separation.
Take your daughter to prison
In May 1939, the two met briefly on business, and after a hurried farewell, they went to the battlefield separately, and Liu Huixin returned to his hometown of northern Jiangsu to carry out guerrilla warfare.
In October of the same year, due to the need for two people, he was appointed by the organization to come to Yichang, Liu Huixin served as a member of the special committee, secretary and women's minister, and Ma Shitu was the secretary of the special committee.
From classmates all the way to comrades-in-arms and partners, the two have the same beliefs, the same ambitions, and establish a deep friendship in the revolution, and the two officially became husband and wife in the winter of 1939.
After marriage, the two were also busy with work and contributing to the revolutionary cause, and in the spring of the following year, Liu Huixin became pregnant.
Liu Huixin, who was pregnant, was still busy at work, and even served as a traffic officer, and often went to the Southern Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Chongqing to report to work, and in December 1940, Liu Huixin gave birth to a daughter.
After the outbreak of the Southern Anhui Incident, Chen Cheng led the Sixth War Zone of the Kuomintang to set off an "anti-communist upsurge" in Enshi, Hubei.
On January 20, 1941, He Gongwei, secretary of the Hubei Special Committee of the Communist Party of China, was betrayed by the traitor Zheng Jian'an.
When the spies were arrested, they mistakenly took Liu Huixin's neighbor away, and Liu Huixin realized that her identity had been exposed, and in order to protect the secrets of the organization, she did not choose to run away at the first time, but burned the documents on the organization.
When the documents were processed, Liu Huixin didn't have time to evacuate, so she was caught by the spies.
Liu Huixin hugged her newborn daughter, and under the escort of the spies, she calmly walked to the prison.
The spy interrogators originally thought that Liu Huixin was just a woman who had just given birth, and it was not difficult to pry information out of her mouth, but they underestimated Liu Huixin's sincerity to the party organization and Liu Huixin's heart to protect her family and defend the country.
Father and daughter are finally reunited
Liu Huixin never confided a word to the spy under all kinds of torture, even if the spy threatened her daughter's life, although Liu Huixin was dripping blood in her heart, she was determined not to betray the party organization.
Liu Huixin always deeply remembered the teachings of the party organization, and when she was in prison, in the face of other people in prison, she wanted to stabilize and shake the minds of the elements and encourage the will of her comrades.
A Communist Party member as determined as Liu Huixin was useless to the spies, so the spies decided to shoot Liu Huixin.
Liu Huixin calmly walked to the execution ground with her daughter in her arms, Liu Huixin was not afraid of death, and the only thing she couldn't let go of was her daughter in her arms.
The spy snatched the child, threw it into the grass next to him, and executed Comrade Liu Huixin.
Ma Zhitu was in pain when he learned of his wife's death, and the only thing he could do was to do his best to find their daughter and raise the child well.
The daughter of martyr Liu Huixin, after being thrown into the grass by the spies, the well-wishers took the child away and handed it over to the party organization, and was adopted by a family surnamed Wu, and the child was named Wu Cuilan.
After nearly 20 years of separation, with the help of the organization, Ma Shitu finally found his daughter Wu Cuilan.
When the father and daughter met, Wu Cuilan had been admitted to the Mechanical Department of Beijing Industrial School (now Beijing Institute of Technology), majoring in the same major as her biological mother Liu Huixin.
In 1964, Wu Cuilan joined the Communist Party of China, and after graduating from university, she joined the ranks of the People's Liberation Army to contribute to the construction and development of the country.
The mother and daughter duo have passed on the torch and contributed to the motherland and the people, which is admirable!
