In this uncertain world, the international landscape is like a chessboard, and every action and decision can trigger a chain reaction. From a macro political perspective, let's unravel the complex and intertwined web of major countries, regions, and organizations around the world.
As we all know, history is the best textbook and the key to interpreting reality. Let's go back to the early part of the last century, when the world was in the midst of a great change. When the European powers redrew their spheres of influence after World War I, the Middle East became the focus of their rivalry. And today, decades after the US military action against Saddam's regime, the Middle East remains the arena for geopolitical gamesmanship. These historical events make one wonder: can power intervention really bring lasting peace?
Terminology such as "hegemonic stability", "realism" and "liberal international relations theory" provide us with analytical tools. The theory of hegemonic stability argues that the rule of a superpower contributes to the maintenance of the international order, but some scholars have pointed out that such an approach often causes unease in other countries. Realism places more emphasis on the importance of power and security, while liberalism tends to favor cooperation and win-win.
In this way, reasoning and justifying the current global situation is challenging. For example, at a time when trade frictions between the United States and China are heating up and Russia is becoming more active in Eastern Europe, each country is looking for strategies to maximize its own interests. Undoubtedly, these actions are the result of a confluence of factors: economic interests, nationalist sentiments, and even internal political struggles.
However, when analyzing various factors, personal opinions and understandings are inevitably mixed and do not fully represent objective facts. Even so, it is more constructive to discuss rationally than to avoid talking about problems.
I look forward to a new era – an era in which all nations can truly enjoy their right to independence and work together to create a prosperous future. Especially in the Middle East, a land that was once colonized, I look forward to seeing them shake off the shadows of the past and embrace their own tomorrow. Similarly, Africa, Latin America, and other regions of Asia that have been influenced by external forces have been able to take their own unique and determined steps.
In this eventful time, remember that despite the twists and turns ahead, as long as we work together with hope and optimism, the future is full of possibilities.
