On December 29th, the 2023 New Year's Day People's Stage and Excellent Team Program Exhibition and Performance of the "Cultural Extravaganza Community Aesthetic Education" held by Quyang Road Street kicked off at the Quyang Community Cultural Activity Center.
The event kicked off with the lively children's Spring Festival dance "New Year Blessings", followed by a number of wonderful programs: including scene recitation, Chinese and Western instrumental music concert, original dance to convey hope for children in mountainous areas, national characteristic performances of foreign friends, opera singing, characteristic sketches, famous singing, singing and dancing chorus and other forms of programs.
The community residents' art team brought wonderful performances to the event, and the community choir, dance team, recitation team, musical instrument performance team, Shanghai opera team, and Yue Opera team took turns to take the stage. For example, the scene recitation "Shimmer Duxing, Volunteer Youth" performed by the Quyang Community Recitation Team, the gourd silk "Phoenix Tail Bamboo in the Moonlight" performed by the Hulusi Team of the Shangnong Second Neighborhood Committee, and the guzheng and bamboo flute "Baikal Shore" performed by the Yunsan Neighborhood Committee Folk Band are all impressive. International students from Shanghai Foreign Chinese University also showed off their style at the event, and Thai dance and Russian dance were presented one by one, which was wonderful.
On the same day, the "Quyang Glimmer" volunteer awards, the unveiling of the "Artists into the Community" aesthetic education practice base, and the star rating and commendation ceremony of the Quyang community cultural team were also held. Masters and outstanding volunteers were invited to participate in the awards, further promote the construction of community cultural teams, and create a strong atmosphere of community aesthetic education.
It is understood that since October this year, Quyang Road Street has successfully held two people's big stage art performances with the theme of community aesthetic education. This event is one of them, with a total of 63 cultural and artistic programs registered, of which 42 are from residential areas, achieving full coverage of 24 neighborhood committees. By refining the concept of "15-minute cultural life circle" and tapping community resources, Quyang Road Street continuously promotes the development of community cultural undertakings and creates high-quality, high-standard and high-level community cultural activities.
In order to ensure the quality of the program, the event organization invited experts and teachers from various professional troupes to rehearse and guide the participating programs. The participating teams were selected at various levels and finally stood out from the 91 cultural and sports teams.
The relevant person in charge of Quyang Road Street said that this event is not only a cultural feast, but also a performance and display of Quyang Road Street cultural construction. By holding such activities, Quyang Road Street has further strengthened the community team building and improved the cultural literacy and happiness of community residents. In the future, Quyang Road Street will continue to promote the development of community cultural undertakings and provide residents with more high-quality cultural activities and services.
