Lucy Wild, a woman from Cheshire, England, replied from personal experience: It was a nest of spiders living in her ears.

One morning in early October of this year, Lucy was suddenly woken up by a "crackling" sound coming from her ears, and she didn't know where the strange noise came from, accompanied by a burst of pain.
Lucy didn't pay much attention to it at first, thinking that it might be too long since she cleaned her earwax, but this feeling lasted all day, and she began to panic and wanted to clean it up with a smart ear spoon with a camera function, but she was scared into a cold sweat by the camera footage......
In her ears lived an "uninvited guest" – a spider.

When the spider was caught, Lucy thought it would be fine, but within a few days, her ears began to hurt again, and this time it was even worse, and it was bleeding so much that she couldn't even make a sound.
She went to the hospital, where she was only prescribed antibiotics for a week, and nothing was cured after taking them.
Later, it was Lucy who uncovered the "mystery" by herself, she tried to stuff the swab into her ear, and when she took it out, she found that the head of the swab had turned black.
With a sense of foreboding, she used the smart ear spoon again, and saw an even more bizarre scene than the last time - there was a black lump on the inside of the ear, I don't know what was wrapped inside, it seemed to be a mass of spider legs, and it was a bit like a bunch of small spiders.

She guessed it might be a wound or another larger spider, so she was so frightened that she sought help from an otolaryngology specialist.
After some examination, the doctor came up with a creepy assumption that it was supposed to be a spider's nest. Even the doctor himself was stunned, saying that he had only seen such cases before when he was training abroad.

This time it was not enough to use olive oil, and the spider's "hometown" had to be sucked clean through surgery.
But the process was so painful that Lucy said it was the worst pain she'd ever experienced in her life, and she could barely handle it, and she couldn't help but throw up during the operation. Compared to this, she would even prefer to have another child.
Fortunately, the operation was a success, and the spider's nest had been cleaned up.
Lucy didn't know when the spider slipped into her ears or how she built a nest in it without being noticed.

At the moment, Lucy hasn't completely put her mind at ease.
Probably frightened by the first two experiences, she always felt that there was still some residue in her ears. After returning home, I re-examined it with a smart ear spoon, and I did see something again, and she immediately wiped it clean with a cotton swab.
