Among them, the automobile manufacturing industry increased by 134.1 percent, the computer communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry increased by 22.6 percent, the general equipment manufacturing industry increased by 18 percent, and the petroleum, coal and other fuel processing industry increased by 7.3 percent.
Huang Dongliang, deputy director of SINOTRUK Intelligent Logistics Center, said that the integrated development of manufacturing and logistics will create more new opportunities. In 2022, the output value of the mainland's manufacturing industry accounted for 30% of the global manufacturing industry, ranking first in the world for 13 consecutive years, and the mainland's automobile sales in 2022 were 26.86 million units, ranking first in the world for 14 consecutive years.
At present, the manufacturing industry is high-end, low-carbon, intelligent, and digitally upgraded, and there are 132 lighthouse factories in the world and 50 in China, representing the highest level of intelligent manufacturing.
Manufacturing enterprises need a one-stop solution, from supply logistics to production logistics, including warehousing, sorting, distribution, and then to market sales, and need third-party logistics to improve supply chain service capabilities. However, the current situation is that although the logistics market cake is large, the head logistics companies are mainly concentrated in the express delivery industry, with high professionalism in the manufacturing industry, long chain, strong customer demand, but lack of professional logistics service providers.

The center will take the collaboration of government, industry, academia and research to promote the high-quality development of the logistics industry in the Yellow River Basin as its own responsibility, relying on the intellectual resources and platform advantages of universities, to jointly carry out collaborative innovation work such as scientific research, academic exchanges, discipline construction, talent training, team building, government-industry-university-research cooperation, decision-making consultation, and achievement transformation, so as to provide important intellectual support for the high-quality development of the logistics industry in the Yellow River Basin and the construction of a green, low-carbon and high-quality development pilot zone in Shandong.
In fact, Jinan universities and enterprises have had a lot of exploration and practice in logistics industry, education and research. In 2007, the University of Jinan set up a teaching practice base in Shandong Gaishi International Group, and in 2015, the two sides invested in the construction of a cooperative training base for master's degree students in logistics engineering, which was recognized as a provincial postgraduate training base by the Provincial Department of Education.
