Recently, the first stop of the "New Vernacular History Series Exhibition", "Shangluo", sponsored by Luoyang Museum and jointly sponsored by Professor Xu Jian of Shanghai University and contemporary artist Chen Yujun, opened at Luoyang Museum.
The exhibition brings together 88 pieces (groups) of fine cultural relics from Luoyang Museum, Luoyang Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology, Jiaozuo Museum, as well as 7 groups of contemporary works created by Xu Jian, Chen Yujun, Liu Yuyang, Lin Yihong, Su Mang, Chen Yehuai and many other artists, and specially invited artists Lu Dadong, Xu Xiaowei, Chen Hao, Wang Xiu, Zhang Jianjing, Guo Aihe and other works of art to participate in the exhibition. Through the five units of "Between Yiluo", "Huaxia Convergence", "World Together" and "Living in History", the "Native Luoyang", "China Luoyang" and "World Luoyang" in the local Luoyang are interpreted.

Heluo is the background color of Luoyang. Since the Paleolithic Age, humans have lived and multiplied between Iloilo. For the children of Heluo, Luoyang is a material land. In the late Neolithic period, the thriving villages gradually became the earliest metropolises and countries. Luoyang is the "Chinese" delivery house, from Luoyi, Jingluo, Dayi to Shendu, where the earliest and longest-used ancient capital of China was established. It is the bearer of the legal system and cultural achievements, and the spiritual hometown where generations of Chinese hearts are. Luoyang is not only a sacred place in China, but also attracts foreigners from the more distant lands where the sea began. Whether it is a merchant traveler from the west, a ferry from the east, or even a sea visitor who enters the South China Sea in sequence, Luoyang is regarded as the ultimate destination. In this way, Luoyang began with a bonfire between Heluo, and through the hope and imagination of the majestic city to build China, it was finally integrated into the global network of the far-reaching world.

Between Iloilo
Luoyang, located in the middle reaches of the Yellow River, southeast of the Loess Plateau. The Alluvial system of the Yellow River and its tributary, the Luohe River, forms the Luoyang Basin. The Mountains north of Luoyang are the watershed between the Yellow River and its tributary, the Luo River. The Songshan Mountains in the south are the watershed between the Yellow River and the Huai River Basin. The lower reaches of the Luo River and its tributaries, the Jian River, the Ying River, the Yi River and other water systems flow through the Luoyang Basin, and the central part is the alluvial plain of the Yiluo River. The Iloilo Plain is the material basis of the Heluo civilization, and the Heluo civilization is therefore called the "two-river civilization of the East".

Huaxia Convergence
Born in Huaxia, he was born in Luoyi.
Between Yanshi and the thirty kilometers on both sides of the Jian River, the ruins of the five major capitals of Yanshi Shangcheng, Erlitou, Luoyang City of Han and Wei, Luoyang City of Sui and Tang Dynasties, and Wangcheng of Eastern Zhou are distributed in turn. The five capitals are in Luoluo, and the weather is at its peak. On the top of the Mountain, on the banks of the Yi River, the Royal Tombs of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, the Eastern Han Dynasty, the Cao Wei Imperial Mausoleum, the Northern Wei Imperial Mausoleum, the Tang Gong Mausoleum and other royal cemeteries are dotted with dots. Since the second millennium BC, starting from the Erlitou culture, thirteen dynasties have been built on Luoyang, from here to command the world. Wherever the sphere of influence of the Chinese state is reached, the people and products are gathered here.

The world is one
As the capital of the dynasty, Luoyang was a distribution center for precious items such as silk, porcelain, spices, glass, gold and silverware, attracting exotic objects, visitors from all directions, and humanistic ideas, thus occupying an important position in the early world system.

Living in history
Luoyang has a number of areas such as the old city, Xigong, Jianxi and Luolong, and the exhibition interprets the hometown identity of contemporary Luoyang people by playing Luoyang humanistic documentaries and Lu Dadong's "Anlewo" calligraphy works.
The exhibition will last until December 30 at The Adjacent Exhibition Hall, No. 7, Second Floor, Luoyang Museum.
