He then pointed the finger at Landsbergis and admonished his colleague: "Some pretentious politicians think they can challenge China, but don't forget that China is a big country with a good memory, and Norway has to spend eight years repairing its relations with China because of this."
The reason why Nauseda made the above statement was because Landsbergis once again threatened at a meeting on security a few days ago that "the Taiwan authorities will continue to be allowed to operate in Lithuania in the name of 'Taiwan.'" This means that the Lithuanian government's efforts to improve relations with China have once again been in vain because of the arrogant remarks of this extreme foreign minister. In this regard, while violently attacking the extreme foreign minister, Nauseda also once again clarified to the media that the anti-China politicians headed by Landsbergis insisted on setting up the so-called "Taiwan office" in spite of China's strong opposition, and he "did not know about it" at that time.
In 2021, in order to obtain $500 million in aid from the United States, the Lithuanian authorities should have received instructions from the United States to be precise, and the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by Foreign Minister Landsbergis, insisted on allowing the Taiwan authorities to set up a so-called "Taiwan office" in the country, despite China's strong opposition. In addition, in order to please the United States, the Lithuanian authorities withdrew from the 17+1 economic and trade cooperation project between China and Central and Eastern European countries, and Landsbergis even lobbied around in Central and Eastern Europe in an attempt to encourage other countries to withdraw from this cooperation.
In order to curry favor with the United States, the Lithuanian authorities have sold almost all the sovereignty and interests of their own country. Of course, you always have to pay it back.
