When the US army falls, it will replenish the previous batch, and it is determined to take the old bald mountain. Ni Xiangming, who witnessed the wounding of his comrades, was furious, picked up his gun and began to shoot at the enemy, and the American troops fell in pieces. However, not long after, the gun in Ni Xiangming's hand ceased fire, because the bullets were exhausted.
Without the slightest hesitation, Ni Xiangming threw down the gun in his hand, came to a box of grenades, picked up the grenade and threw it down, and the American troops were blown up and lost their armor. But the U.S. army was unwilling to retreat like this, so they divided into two groups and prepared to surround Ni Xiangming. Just when Ni Xiangming was attacked by the enemy on his back. Friendly reinforcements also arrived.
With the arrival of reinforcements, the U.S. troops were pushed back, but before Ni Xiangming had time to rest, the position not far away fell into the encirclement of the U.S. troops.

On September 5, 1952, the Party Committee of the Volunteer Army posthumously appointed the martyr Ni Xiangming as a member of the Communist Party, and recorded the "special merit" and won the title of "first-class combat hero".
In order to commemorate their heroic deeds, the Qixian government has built a monument engraved with the deeds of the martyr Ni Xiangming for future generations to pay respect.
