The Stars Awards Ceremony 2023 will be held in Macao on 14 January 2024. On December 20, TVB announced the top 10 lists for 12 awards including Best Actor and Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, and Best Drama. Among them, the much-talked-about "News Queen" was shortlisted for a number of awards.

In the "Best Drama Series" award, "News Queen" will compete with "Invisible Team", "Lawyer", "Poison Strongman" and other best dramas.

"Best Actress" award, Charmaine Sheh and Li Shihuan were both shortlisted for the top 10 with "News Queen". Other finalists include Chan Yin Yu (Romeo and Zhu Yingtai), Choi Sibei (Hello, My Doctor) and Wu Ruoxi (Hong Kong People in Beijing).

For the "Best Actor" award, Ma Guoming was shortlisted for the top 10 with "News Queen", and will compete with Huang Zongze ("Shadow Sniper"), Chen Zhanpeng ("Hong Kong People in Beijing"), Chen Hao ("Breaking the Drug Strongman") and others.

In the "Best Supporting Actress" award, Gao Haining, He Yiting, and Wang Minyi were shortlisted for "News Queen", and in the "Best Supporting Actor" award, three actors were also nominated for "News Queen", namely Tan Junyan, Deng Zhijian and Chen Shancong.

For the first time, the Greater Bay Area Awards will be set up for the "Thousands of Stars Award Ceremony 2023". The top 10 lists of the four awards of "Favorite TVB Drama in the Greater Bay Area", "Favorite TVB Actor in the Greater Bay Area", "Favorite TVB Actress in the Greater Bay Area" and "Favorite TVB Variety and Information Program in the Greater Bay Area" have been announced. Voting for the GBA Awards is now open for voting via the Bury Pile app or website, and the deadline is 12pm on 7 January 2024 (Sunday).
