IT Home reported on December 21 that Samsung recently launched the new 49-inch monitor S95UC of the ViewFinity S9 series in the Korean market, with a model number of LS49C954U and a price of 1.49 million won (IT Home Note: currently about 8180 yuan).
The new S95UC is currently only available in South Korea, and it is unclear whether it will be launched in the country.
The ViewFinity S9 S95UC features a VA panel with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, a 32:9 aspect ratio, and a curvature of 1000R.
The display has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a grayscale response time of 4ms. The company claims that it has a maximum brightness of 350 nits. Not only does the monitor support HDR, but it also has VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. According to the brand, it covers 115% of the sRGB color space and 92% of the DCI-P3 color space.
In terms of ports, the 49-inch S95UC offers 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4 port, 3 USB Type-A 3.0 ports, 1 USB Type-C port (90W power output via USB PD protocol), 1 3.5mm audio jack, and 1 Ethernet port.
The onboard two 5W speakers are available in a stereo configuration. The monitor has a 100×100 VESA mount and comes with a stand that provides height, tilt, and rotation adjustments.
