According to the official determination of the China Earthquake Network, a 4.1-magnitude earthquake occurred in Jishishan County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province at 4:02 on December 21, with an epicenter depth of 8 kilometers and an epicenter at 35.77 degrees north latitude and 102.80 degrees east longitude.

According to @CCTV News, the reporter learned from the Qinghai Provincial Emergency Department that as of 20:56 on the 20th, the 6.2-magnitude earthquake in Jishishan, Gansu Province has killed 22 people, injured 198 people, and lost contact with 12 people in Haidong City, Qinghai Province. At present, the search and rescue work of the missing persons is still in progress. In addition, as of the 20th, 113 people were killed and 782 injured in Gansu as a result of the earthquake.
