Victoria's Secret. In the Victorian era, people's clothes and suits may have looked gorgeous, but their living conditions were rather rudimentary.

They don't have running water and they don't have a good way to dispose of their waste. This means that they have to wash their clothes with a mixture of urine, kerosene, chalk and kefir.

They brush their teeth with things like broken bones and cuttlefish meal. To clean their hair, they use raw eggs or vinegar to remove dirt, dead skin, and oil.

Poor sanitation leads to health problems. Waste from outdoor toilets and night pots is either dumped into pits under houses or into the River Thames, which is also where London gets its drinking water.

In summer, the hot weather can cause the waste in the river to emit a foul smell, which is thought to cause diseases such as cholera and typhoid. They don't know that it's actually the bacteria in the waste that make people sick.

Victorian London was a very smelly, filthy place by today's standards, and the air was filled with the smell of unwashed corpses, decaying waste, pollution, and industrial dirt.

But people at the time didn't seem to notice their body odor, nor did they notice that their "clean" clothes smelled like eggs, vomit, and excrement.

They live in filthy conditions and even drink tea in their living rooms above leaky garbage pits. It wasn't until the late 1800s that items like soap, toilet paper, and flush toilets began to make things cleaner. #I'm going to be on micro headlines# #图片会说话#
