According to CCTV News, up to now, more than 1,500 national comprehensive fire and rescue teams, more than 1,500 public security officers, and more than 1,000 officers and soldiers have been mobilized to rush to the disaster area. The Gansu Provincial Earthquake Relief Headquarters Office coordinated with the Provincial Food and Material Reserve Bureau to urgently dispatch the first batch of emergency supplies to the disaster area, including 2,600 cotton tents, 10,400 folding beds, 10,400 quilts, 10,400 cotton mattresses, and 1,000 stoves (including chimneys); The towns (streets) and villages (communities) in the epicenter and surrounding areas did not wait or rely on each other, and quickly carried out early disposal and self-help and mutual rescue, and strived to minimize disaster losses.
At present, the rescue work is being carried out in an orderly manner, and the investigation of hidden dangers in the earthquake area, the resettlement of the masses to avoid danger, and the repair of damaged facilities have been carried out in an all-round way. At the same time, due to the restrictions of traffic conditions in the earthquake area, social volunteers, people outside the earthquake area, and social vehicles are requested not to go to the earthquake area to avoid traffic congestion and ensure that the rescue channel and life channel are unblocked.
A number of enterprises donated money and materials
On December 19, a number of enterprises donated to Gansu. Hongxing Erke donated 20 million yuan, New Oriental and Oriental Selection donated 10 million yuan, Han Hong Foundation donated 2 million yuan, Du Xiaoman donated 20 million yuan, Luckin Coffee donated 5 million yuan, and Want Want Group donated 2 million cash and 2 million equivalent products. Xtep Group donated 20 million yuan of cold materials to help the earthquake relief in Gansu and Qinghai.
