Recently, Chengdu Aviation Vocational and Technical College Aviation Equipment Manufacturing Industry College Aviation Science Volunteer Service Team in Chengdu Longquanyi District Baihe Street Liming Community "Gang Volunteer Service Team" joint efforts, completed this semester's "Aviation Dream - New Era Aviation People Development Plan" project of the last activity, the activity to "explore the mystery of science and technology" as the theme, so that children experience the science fiction world, the ideal into reality of the magical journey.
In the afternoon of the same day, the volunteers of the Aviation Science Volunteer Service Team came to the Liming Community and led the children to the engine room of the Chengdu Aviation Institute in an orderly manner. Before the activity, the volunteers assigned a task to the children: imagine what an airplane would look like, and if you were asked to design your own aircraft, what would it look like?
After arriving at the computer room, the volunteers led the children to complete the design of the aircraft model on the computer, and watched their own aircraft model slowly take shape under the mouse, the children were both excited and accomplished, and couldn't help but share it with their friends.
After the design of the model airplane was completed, the volunteers of the 3D Curriculum Association used the 3D printer to make the model airplane designed by the children one by one and gave it to the children as souvenirs. The magical journey from imagination to reality gives children the most intuitive feeling and expectation of technology.
At the end of the activity, the children followed the volunteers to the Student Activity Center of Chengdu Aviation Academy, where everyone used twisting sticks and plasticine to experience the fun of creating hands and brains again. Under the patient guidance of the volunteers, the children made full use of their little brains to make a variety of beautiful bouquets with tools, pinched out various items such as flowers and smiling faces with clay, and decorated and decorated them with exquisite aircraft stickers prepared.
Dream Airlines, let dreams soar. The person in charge of the activity said that through the entertaining and educational science popularization activities, it not only cultivated the children's hands-on practical ability, but also stimulated the children's interest in 3D printing technology and drawing software, and expanded their imagination and creativity.
It is reported that the "Aviation Dream - Aviation Talent Development Program in the New Era" is a popular science brand volunteer service project carefully created by the Aviation Science Popularization Volunteer Service Team of the Aviation Equipment Manufacturing Industry College of Chengdu Aviation Institute, and was selected as the annual science popularization project of Chengdu Science and Technology Association in 2023. The project uses aviation-related theories to preach and explore the principles of aircraft flight, inspire children's desire to explore and curiosity about scientific phenomena, immerse themselves in the charm of aviation science popularization by assembling aircraft models, and stimulate children's yearning and expectation for aviation career with vivid and vivid aviation industry development history and cases.
