A few days ago, Zhidian Travel obtained a set of rendering pictures of the exterior of Toyota's new 4Runner model, the new car is positioned as a medium and large SUV under the brand, called "Speedmaster" in the domestic market, and can also be regarded as a "large RAV4" model, which is expected to be officially launched in 2024 at the earliest.

At the same time, the new car is also expected to continue to be imported into the domestic market in the second half of next year, and the main competitors in the same class include the Tank 500, Volkswagen Touareg, Ford Explorer and other models.

As can be seen from the exterior renderings released, Toyota's new 4Runner model is equipped with a blackened split grid grille at the head, and the sides are replaced with narrower LED headlight clusters.

According to overseas media, the new car will also be built on the TNGA-F platform together with the new generation of Prado, and its body size will also usher in an overall improvement, which may have more advantages than the old model.

In terms of power, Toyota's all-new 4Runner model will be discontinued from the 4.0L V6 naturally aspirated fuel version, and will be replaced by the brand's new 2.4T i-Force Max petrol-electric hybrid engine and 3.5L V6 plug-in hybrid engine, the transmission system is mated to a 6-speed automatic manual and 8-speed automatic manual transmission, and a four-wheel drive system is available.
