Exceeded 200,000 units: Geely's sales in November hit a record, and NEV sales rose 88% year-on-year
On December 1, Geely Automobile Group announced its November sales data, with a cumulative sales of 200079 new vehicles, up 38% year-on-year and 11% month-on-month.
Sales in November hit a new high, allowing Geely Automobile to achieve a record monthly sales record for three consecutive months, and it also enabled Geely Automobile to achieve a year-on-year growth for 10 consecutive months.
Among them, Geely New Energy sold 65,034 vehicles in November. Up 88% year-on-year and 5% quarter-on-quarter. Similarly, Geely also achieved a record high in sales of new energy vehicles for four consecutive months.
Through the above two sets of data, we can see that in the past November, Geely Automobile's growth rate in the new energy vehicle market was significantly higher than that of the traditional fuel vehicle market.
In terms of brands, Geely sold 153845 units in November. 42% year-on-year and 10% quarter-on-quarter. As Geely's high-end series model, Geely China Star's sales in November exceeded 40,000 units for the first time, reaching 43,692 units, a year-on-year increase of 69%. The geometric sales of the pure electric series were 20,329 units, a year-on-year increase of 47%.
The combination of Geely Galaxy L7 and L6 sold 13,770 units in November, exceeding 10,000 units for five consecutive months.
The high-end brand Lynk & Co sold 30,055 vehicles in November, up 66% year-on-year and 22% month-on-month, with new energy vehicles accounting for more than 50% of sales. Sales of the all-new Lynk & Co 08 EM-P increased by 25% month-on-month in November, and monthly sales exceeded 10,000 for the first time.
Also in November, in addition to the launch of another new model, the Lynk & Co 06 EM-P, the 1,000,000th vehicle of Lynk & Co also officially rolled off the assembly line. After achieving sales of more than one million, Lynk & Co will accelerate the transformation of new energy vehicles.
Trendy technology brand Zeekr Automobile's sales in November increased by 19% year-on-year, with sales of 13,104 units. At the Guangzhou Auto Show, ZEEKR's new pure electric sedan ZEEKR 007 was also officially unveiled. After the launch of this car, the benchmark model is the Tesla Model 3.
The battery swap brand Ruilan Automobile sold 3.75 vehicles in November, a year-on-year decrease of 58%, and Ruilan Automobile is also the only car brand under the Geely brand to see a year-on-year decline in sales in November. As of the end of November, NIO's cumulative sales this year were 34,101 units, down 24% from the same period last year.
In overseas markets, Geely Automobile exported 30,209 vehicles in November. The year-on-year increase was 62% and 6% month-on-month, which is also the first time that Geely Automobile's monthly sales in overseas markets exceeded 30,000 units.
As of the end of November, Geely Automobile's cumulative sales this year exceeded 1.53 million units, a year-on-year increase of 19%.
For the current Geely Automobile, after making full efforts in the field of new energy, Geely Automobile's cumulative sales this year should exceed 1.7 million units. And with the launch of a number of new energy models such as Galaxy E8, Lynk & Co 06 EM-P and Zeekr 007, Geely Automobile will definitely have a great future in the new energy vehicle market in 2024.
