Seneca's Stoicism: Philosophy as Practice (Part I)

Seneca's philosophy was influenced by Plato and Aristotle, but his writings also showed his own style and independence. He did not see himself as a disciple of the Stoics, but worked within this system. He emphasized his independent thinking and wanted to think in Latin. While his interest in ethics was greater, he also explored other areas such as logic, philosophy of language, epistemology, and ontology. Although Seneca is considered a member of the Stoic school, his work does not stick to this genre but rather incorporates his own ideas.
