In the pursuit of profits, some people have begun to use some harmful methods and tools to "obtain" some fish they want to catch, which will cause great damage to ecological resources and fisheries.

But now, not only is live loach fishing banned, but if it is discovered, it will be sentenced, so what is the serious harm of loach fishing? Can you really empty an entire reservoir?

A professional angler once said that the efficiency of fishing with live loaches is very high because if you use loaches to make a nest, it is almost a catch, and there is no possibility of returning without success.

Therefore, for some "fishermen", the economic profit is very large, and fishing with loaches can attract some more precious fish such as billfish.

We all know that fishing with this kind of live loach must use loaches to make nests, and the problem is that the species is very reproductive and adaptable, so if you don't grasp it well, it is easy to increase its number dramatically.
And the loach's predatory ability is also quite strong, that is, we often say that dry rice is more positive, when a group of very strong "grabbers" suddenly appear in the environment in which they live, then they can eat less naturally.
Therefore, the living space of other fish will be squeezed and occupied, and if their reproductive ability is not strong, then slowly, some species in the environment will disappear, and the ecological balance will be broken.
The idea of "fishing for a reservoir" is indeed a bit exaggerated, but there is a certain factual basis, although fishing with loaches does not say that all the fish will be caught, but it may bring the risk of extinction to one of the fish.
For example, the billfish is an example, as long as there is such a fish in the water, whether it is a reservoir, a river or a pond, almost no one is spared.
If you have a warped mouth boss fishing, it is almost impossible to allow you to use live loaches as bait, because you will definitely lose money.

In addition, fishing with loaches will also bring damage to the local water environment and water resources, because some "loach parties" will directly use liquor, erguotou or dichlorvos to fill hemp loaches for efficiency.
In the process of fishing, these harmful substances are likely to enter the ecosystem with the flow of water and continue to spread.
Those who know these people probably know that alcohol has a great damage to the digestive system of fish in the water, not to mention the harm caused by the poison dichlorvos.
Once these things enter reservoirs or ponds, they will definitely pose a threat to the organisms in them, and they may also pollute our domestic water for a long time.
Although the law in the biological world is that the law of the jungle is that the big fish eat the small fish, and the small fish eat the shrimp, the impact of artificial intervention is still very different, and it is not only one fish that is lured by using live loaches as bait.

In 2021, the mainland already had a clear regulation prohibiting fishing in aquatic life reserves and first-class protection zones for drinking water sources.
If you fish in other places, you should also comply with the relevant regulations, and the first of these regulations is that one person is not allowed to fish with multiple rods, one line with multiple hooks, and multiple lines and hooks.
The second is that fishing with some auxiliary equipment such as fish detection radar is not allowed, and the third is that fishing is not allowed with the help of some water equipment.
The last rule is not to use some bait containing toxic substances, some nest material and additives, and some live aquatic organisms such as fish and shrimp for fishing.
The "loach party" is the last explicitly forbidden to use live aquatic organisms for fishing, and some people have not taken this regulation seriously, and will continue to use live loaches to fish.

But perhaps the economic benefits it brings are too great, or perhaps there is a "survivor" mentality, these "loach parties" can be said to be repeatedly banned.
In 2022, the incident of four men fishing in a local snail reserve in Yueyang caused an uproar on the Internet.
They knew that what they were doing was not right, but they still wanted to do it, so they were reported by the masses, and when the police arrived there, they found that they even used live loaches as bait, so they took them back directly for interrogation.
Less than three months after this incident, two more men in Sichuan were arrested for using live loaches for fishing, and the fish they caught totaled more than 82 catties, including mandarin fish and billfish.
Therefore, one person was detained for three months, and the other was punished for four months, and in addition, the two people had to pay a fine of more than 10,000 yuan, that is, compensation for fishery resources.
What is loach fishing? 】
However, in the beginning, loach fishing was generally done with loach hooks, mainly to use its activity, and not too many loaches were used in the fishing process.
Originally, it was a way to relax and kill time, but later some people found that this has great limitations, because the loach is not particularly easy to hook, and even if it is hooked hard, it will almost die.
Later, some anglers found that when someone released loaches, they could catch fish with almost every rod, and many precious species that had not been caught before could be caught, so it attracted some people who were interested in it.
In the fishing circle, in fact, everyone looks down on these "loach parties" very much, because fishing is originally a profession and a hobby.
And now these people not only have no professional ethics, not to mention any fishing skills, but even damage the reputation of some fishing enthusiasts.
Because these actions are essentially opportunistic for their own interests, and those professionals or hobbyists are generally very serious about studying some fishing knowledge.
Live loach fishing is actually the "out-of-the-box fishing method", which is despised by people, and people who really like fishing look down on these behaviors.
Nesting means placing bait that is detached from the hook at the fishing place, which can improve the efficiency of the process to a certain extent.
Generally everyone uses a fishing rod to put bait, and some "bigwigs" may row or use a remote control boat to and from the core area to drop bait.
The "loach party" is to place the live loach in the area where you want to fish to "make a nest", and then attract some other fish to gather in this area, so that it is very convenient to fish.
The "drunkenness" we mentioned earlier with baijiu is actually to prevent them from running around, and at the beginning some people will use baijiu mixed with sweet corn to achieve their own goals.
But later, in order to improve the efficiency of the process, they would directly pour the second pot head, but in the end, some selfish people began to use the poison of dichlorvos to soak the loach, so as to achieve their goals faster.

In fact, the traditional fishing methods before were not very harmful, and what was really harmful was the behavior of some industrial "loach parties", so they were strictly banned.
