During the Qing Dynasty, China established a suzerainty relationship with Kanjuti and established the rule of tribute to gold and gold. Kanjuti applied to become a county in China's Xinjiang and later incorporated into Palestine, becoming a witness to Sino-Pakistani friendship.
The history of Kanjuti dates back to the Qing Dynasty, when Kanjuti included two homogeneous but relatively separate tribes, Hunza and Nagar. During the Qianlong period, the Qing army quelled the rebellion in the Kanjuti region and changed Shajin, which had originally paid tribute to the Dzungar Khanate, to pay tribute to the Qing court. From then on, Kanjuti maintained clan relations with the Qing dynasty and became a staunch supporter of China with the support of the Qing court.
However, Kanjuti was oppressed after the establishment of the aggressor regime of Aguba and trade activities were restricted. It was not until the Qing army recaptured the southern eight cities that Kanjuti repaid tribute to Xinjiang and resumed trade with China.
In the late 19th century, Kanjuti voluntarily requested canonization by the Qing court and became an official vassal state of the Qing Dynasty. During the Qing Dynasty and subsequent Republic of China, Kanjuti was listed as a vassal state. However, the British intervened in the Kanjuti area during this period and occupied it. After the British took control of Kanjuti, in order to reduce resistance, they invited the Qing court to participate in the enthronement ceremony of the new king of Kanjuti. However, British officials refused to allow the new monarch to accept China's rewards, which led to a decrease in Kanjuti's trade with China. Eventually, Pakistan replaced Britain as the ruler of Kanjuti.
China-Pakistan relations were established in 1951, becoming the first Islamic state in Pakistan to recognize the People's Republic of China. After years of development, China-Pakistan friendship has become the cornerstone of bilateral relations. In China's diplomatic practice, China-Pakistan relations have been supported by Pakistan for a long time, and Pakistan has always stood firmly with China.
