According to Thai media news, Thailand is currently in the rainy season, since September, affected by the monsoon, many provinces are facing continuous heavy rainfall. Between September 26 and October 14, nearly 59,000 homes in 2,809 villages in 35 provinces in Thailand were flooded.

In the past three weeks, 35 provinces in Thailand have been flooded, affecting more than 50,000 homes!

According to the report of Thailand's disaster prevention and mitigation department, up to now, six provinces of Phetchabun, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Le Ngit, Kalaksin and Ubon Ratchathani are still trapped by floods, and a total of 20,363 people in the six provinces have been affected. However, in the past few days, the water level in the flood-affected areas of Phetchabun, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai and Le Ngit has decreased, but the water level in Kalasin and Ubon Ratchathani provinces has increased.

It is reported that on October 14, Thai Prime Minister and Finance Minister Seita went to Phitsanulok province to inspect the flood situation and follow up the disaster prevention and mitigation work.
