At the same time, Zhang Yixing recently sued Qian Moumou over a dispute over reputation rights, and the case will be publicly heard in the Wuwei Municipal People's Court on October 13. What's going on?

It is worth mentioning that artificial intelligence has encountered major variables. EU negotiators plan to impose additional regulations on the largest artificial intelligence (AI) systems under the upcoming AI Act, targeting big tech giants, Bloomberg reported. In addition, on October 6, local time, the Korea Communications Commission said it was considering fining Google and Apple 68 billion won (about 368 million yuan).

Wu Yifan had another accident

According to the Tianyancha App, recently, Wu Yifan's affiliates Beijing Fanshi Culture Media Co., Ltd., Inner Mongolia Chaoting Culture Media Co., Ltd., and Inner Mongolia Fanshi Film and Television Media Co., Ltd. added a new piece of information on the person subject to enforcement, with the enforcement target of more than 18.96 million yuan, the enforcement court is the Second People's Court of Zhongshan City, and the related case is a dispute over a service contract between Vantage Co., Ltd. and the above-mentioned companies.

Beijing Fanshi Culture Media Co., Ltd. was established in January 2015, the legal representative is Wu Yifan's cousin Wu Lin, jointly held by Wu Lin and Hu Bingjie, and Wu Yifan's mother Wu Xiuqin is the supervisor. It is reported that previously, Vantage had demanded tens of millions of endorsement fees from Wu Yifan, and Vantage requested the court to order the termination of its service contracts with the defendants Fanshi Film and Television Media Company and Chaoting Culture Media Company; It also ordered the above two companies and Beijing Vashi Culture Media Co., Ltd. to jointly refund the plaintiff the service fee of 17.5 million yuan and interest.

According to previous reports, on November 15, 2021, Wu Yifan's "eldest cousin" Wu Lin and others added information on the enforcee, and the enforcement target was more than 60.17 million yuan, and the related case was a dispute over a financial loan contract between Wu Lin and other six defendants and Macau Chinese Bank Co., Ltd. According to the materials, in addition to Wu Lin, the defendants in this case also included Wu Jigang, Sun Xinning, Wu Xiao, Zhao Hongying, Wu Fuyu and Guangdong Wandi Highway Engineering Co., Ltd., of which Wu Jigang is the legal representative of Guangdong Wandi Highway Engineering Co., Ltd. According to Wu Yifan's previous Weibo, Wu Lin is his "big cousin" and one of Wu Jigang's heirs. Wu Jigang was also twice included in the list of untrustworthy persons subject to enforcement.

Earlier, the owner of Wu Yifan's mainland brokerage company was also enforced, with 170 million yuan enforced, the total amount outstanding exceeded 1.4 billion yuan, and the property in Beijing was also auctioned.

Zhang Yixing sued

Another star, Zhang Yixing, also rushed to the hot search today. According to the Tianyancha App, Zhang Yixing recently sued Qian Moumou over a dispute over reputation rights, and the case will be publicly heard at the Wuwei County People's Court in Wuhu City on October 13.

What's going on here? In June this year, there was actually a case involving Zhang Yixing's right to reputation. According to the information of Tianyancha App at that time, Shanghai Kuanyu Digital Technology Co., Ltd., an affiliate of Station B, and Zhang Yixing's reputation rights dispute case has added a court announcement that the plaintiff is Zhang Yixing, and the case will be heard in the Yangpu District People's Court of Shanghai on June 9. This news was also on Weibo hot search at that time.

Some bloggers said: "In fact, Zhang Yixing has no direct conflict with station B, the matter is essentially a dispute between him and the rumor-mongering/infringing user, but the star must first sue the platform, and the platform can exit after providing the personal information of the sued user, and then there is a lawsuit between the star and the user." ”

It is understood that this is not the first time that stars have sued "black fans", in recent years, in addition to Zhang Yixing, since this year, many stars such as Zhao Liying, Zhao Lusi, Tan Songyun, Di Li Gerba, Yang Mi and so on have sued "black fans" and made them apologize.

Not long ago, on September 27, according to a cover news report, the Beijing Internet Court published an announcement related to the online infringement liability dispute between Zhao Liying and Qin Moumou. The content shows that Qin Moumou posted a number of Weibo posts directly pointing at Zhao Liying, which constituted an infringement of his right to reputation by insulting and slandering, and the court ordered the defendant Qin Moumou to apologize to the plaintiff Zhao Liying and compensate Zhao Liying for emotional damage of 28,000 yuan. After the above judgment came into effect, Qin Moumou failed to fulfill her obligation to apologize, and Zhao Liying applied for compulsory enforcement.

Artificial intelligence has encountered major variables

In terms of industries, artificial intelligence has once again encountered major variables. EU negotiators plan to impose additional regulations on the largest artificial intelligence (AI) systems under the upcoming AI Act, targeting big tech giants, Bloomberg reported.

Representatives of the EU's Executive Committee, the European Parliament and EU member states are discussing ways to address concerns raised by large language models while ensuring that startups are not over-regulated, people familiar with the matter said.

The regulations being developed are similar to the European Union's recently enacted Digital Services Act (DSA). While digital security laws require all platforms and websites to protect user data and monitor illegal activity, large online platforms such as Alphabet (GOOGL-US) and Meta (META-US) are the most heavily regulated.

This is expected to make the EU the first Western government to pass the AI Act to impose mandatory regulations on AI. The proposed EU bill requires AI companies to conduct risk assessments and label deepfakes.

At present, there is still no consensus within the EU on issues such as how to accurately regulate generative AI and whether to completely ban instant facial recognition for the masses. The European Parliament supports a total ban on such facial recognition surveillance systems, but many EU member states have disagreed. However, EU negotiators still hope to finalize the bill by the end of the year, with the goal of reaching a consensus before the October 25 meeting.

It is worth mentioning that according to people familiar with the matter, Microsoft plans to launch the first chip for artificial intelligence (AI) when it holds its annual developer conference in November. The chip is designed for data center servers and will be used to train and run large-language models.

In addition to the European Union, South Korea is also ready to take action against tech giants. On October 6, local time, the Korea Communications Commission said it was considering fining Google and Apple 68 billion won (about 368 million yuan) because the two companies force app developers to use specific payment methods and charge up to 30% service fees.
