On September 2, 2014, the court sentenced Li Zongrui to 30 years' imprisonment and compensated NT$27.45 million.
Li Zongrui appealed again, and finally after Shi Jinxiu's efforts, on October 23, 2015, the Supreme Court finally sentenced Li Zongrui to 22 years and 10 months in prison.
Although Li Zongrui went to prison, after Shi Jinxiu's dots, his prison life was quite moist, not only the easiest work - labeling in the paper bag factory, but also often sending him money, letting him keep some relationships in prison, and even worried that Li Zongrui was addicted to cigarettes and sent him cigarettes to smoke, which simply turned prison life into a fairy life.
