It is understood that the total investment of the overall upgrading and transformation project of Shuijing Avenue is 446 million yuan, from Phoenix Avenue in the east to Jianshe Avenue in the west, with a total length of about 4.3 kilometers. The project mainly involves the construction of municipal roads, landscape greening, building façade renovation and upgrading, etc. Through the widening of roads, the construction of new rainwater pipe culverts and other projects, the traffic capacity of Shuijing Avenue has been maximized, and the drainage capacity of rainwater has been strengthened, creating a safe and smooth road traffic environment for people to travel safely.

At present, the main road of Shuijing Avenue has been completed and opened to traffic, the main body of the two newly built underground garages and the whole section of rainwater sewer culverts, water supply pipelines and high-pressure ground culverts have been completed simultaneously, the façade renovation projects on both sides have been basically completed, and the sewage inlet branch pipes are under construction.
The reporter learned from the project department that the project will also carry out the construction of auxiliary functions such as 240 multi-functional light poles, communication overhead lines, main landscape greening and high-voltage lines entering the ground, which is planned to be completed in late December this year and meet the completion acceptance conditions.
